Brandon Immigration Partnership is a federally funded program hosted by the Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation to support the long-term integration and settlement of immigrants and newcomers to Brandon.
The Brandon Local Immigration Partnership, has been operating in Brandon, MB since 2020. LIPs work by creating a system that invites increasing local engagement in integrating newcomers. Directed by our Partnership Council, and informed by our Immigrant Advisory Table, BLIP combines existing local strengths and resources with innovative strategies to effect welcoming and inclusive communities.
Informed through consultation with various community stakeholders and governed by a multi-sector Partnership Council, we are able to develop and implement a holistic strategy.
Through this process, success will be shared by the City of Brandon, multi-sector partners, locals, and of course immigrants and newcomers.
