Westman Immigration Services offers free ESL classes to help you learn English for everyday living and in the workplace.

Before you are placed in an English class, you will have your English level assessed. The test measures your skill in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English. This assessment will allow you to be referred to an appropriate class in a language training program in Brandon.

Live and Learn provides self-study learning options that can be accessed 24/7. They have modules that have been developed for beginners, lower intermediate and intermediate learners.  Each module has several lessons to practice your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

If you are a permanent resident or Canadian citizen, you do not have to pay to send your children to public school. Parents can also choose to place their children in private schools which are supported partly by government grants and partly by tuition fees paid by parents.

If you wish to enroll your child/children in school, you are requested to appear at your nearest school. To find the school closest to your home, you can use the online school locator, and to find out which documentation to bring when you visit a school, please click here.
